Charles (Chuck) Rickard's name is synonymous with variety and vitality. At times he has combined producing, screenwriting, acting, conducting a successful business and spending time with his two children.

Of all his creative pursuits, he found that writing offered him the most freedom of expression. After numerous attempts at poetry and short stories, he discovered his natural talent for screenwriting. After only three years his third script MASKIM XUL was produced and released as a feature film, MAXIM XUL starring Adam West. To date, Rickard has completed 13 feature length screenplays.

In 1999 he finished his first novel manuscript, POTTER'S WHEEL. His second manuscript, THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE, involves the nightmare of being single for the first time in one's forties.

Recently he remarried after meeting his wife on the Internet and going to New York City on a blind date. She is of Russian ancestry and had been living in Latvia for the past twenty years. This too is a very compelling story still in the works.
